A couple days ago, we announced the creation of a token that will be integrated into the business model of our makerspace.

Last night on the Whaleshares Live Post Promotion, our Founder @thatsweeneyguy announced that there would be a small quantity of these tokens up for sale early, and at a discount. The price I quoted them last night was 1 BTS each, but after some careful thought, I have decided to lower the PreSale price. There are 75,000 STEEMHOUSE already listed on the Bitshares DEX for 0.5 BTS each!

This token will have many uses both within The Steem House, and within the Steem Community!

Members of our local community will be able to use these tokens to cover their monthly membership dues, purchase day passes, workshop tickets, project materials, and more! Holders of this token who may never interact with our physical space will still be able to purchase various products made by members of The Steem House, participate in raffles and auctions, and more!

We will find many more uses for these tokens as time goes on, adding to their overall utility. We want to be able to offer something useful, not just something that gets traded like old cards :D

This Token Pre Sale will generate the funds necessary to let us hit the ground running!

In conjunction with what we have raised from our Dream Team, the funds raised from this first early batch of coins will allow us to be able to market the Token sale, and could allow us to confidently put a deposit and first month's rent down on a space. Once we have a physical location, the rest of the funds from this Pre Sale will pay for local marketing, and materials to "remodel" the space to fit our needs and wants. Help us raise these funds, and your investment will surely pay off!
