#1: Metamaterials and invisibility cloaking technology.
Once I learned that you could use surface coating technology and mirage effects to make objects just as transparent as the air around them. This realization completely reshaped my perspective on UFO sightings and photography. Because it made me realize that if these things people are seeing and photographing are really “aliens”, then they WANT to be seen and are willingly uncloaking themselves to allow you to see them. This technology is significantly more simply than inter-stellar travel, so we have to assume that if they have the technology to get all the way here through vast voids of empty space, then they most certainly would have the technology to create invisibility cloaks.

#2 CGI and Computer Generated Animation Overlays
Since the old days of print graphics and photography, people have used photographic enhancement and special effects to fake UFO pictures and videos and pawn them off as real. Now in the age of Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) it’s possible to fake the most spectacular UFO videos, available to anyone with the software, computing power, and time. CGI completely changed the game, and UFO video analysis hasn’t been the same since.

#3 Man-made experimental aircraft & Drones
Area 51 isn’t the only place where weird things are test flown in the sky. Experimental aircraft are flown by both the Private and Military sectors. There are lots of examples, many of which are responsible for a large portion of UFO sightings. Unlike the super advanced craft we would expect from an alien visitor which would be efficient, silent, and invisible. These drones and other craft can be noisy, disruptive, fast moving objects in the sky which are often mistaken for UFOs.

Combined with over a decade of getting excited about new topics, only to uncover more deception and trickery to add to my wall of shame: (http://alienscientist.com/debunked.html) You start to realize why after 10 years looking back, guys like William Cooper turned around and said, that all the Alien stuff was being used as disinformation by Counter Intelligence Programs to cover for the real stuff and discredit by association anyone who talked about it. Just like in David Icke’s books where he cites the research tracing out the Illuminati blood lines, shows how the same families have controlled the world throughout History, and then throws the proverbial turd-in-the-punchbowl with the addition of the old “oh hey, and I forgot to mention that they do this not because of pure nepotism and natural order of handing down the estate to one’s children or family… but because they are all secretly shape-shifting reptilian aliens!” Including Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama, who is also a man... XD
I almost want to say it’s a cross over between entertainment and propaganda. Either way it’s a very sad political reality TV show we are living in where millions of people watch and believe this kind of stuff on the daily.
A good portion of unsolved UFO cases are most likely unidentified man-made aircraft, pictures and videos can easily be faked, radar data can’t. But even then, there are ways aliens could easily hide from radar detection. The F117 Stealth fighter used a radar absorbent paint developed back in the 1980s using Barium Titanate which is a metamaterial. Aliens would surely have developed even more advanced metamaterials and surfaces capable of full radar invisibility… Once you understand these things it will completely change your entire perspective on UFOs and UFOlogy.
These (and many other) reasons, are why Scientists and SETI researchers search for radio signals from space and don't waste their time with UFOs. Given these 3 technologies described above, the chances of a UFO being an actual alien are very very slim...
