We are pleased to introduce John-Paul Thorbjornsen (JP Thor) as an advisor to Invox Finance. JP Thor is the CEO and co-founder of CanYa, a global P2P blockchain-based marketplace where people can buy and sell services securely.

At the close of its Initial Coin Offering (ICO), CanYa has raised A$12m (11013 ETH) making it Australia’s second most successful ICO ever. 24 hours into the presale, CanYa had already raised A$1.5m and attracted global attention for its aggressive growth as a blockchain startup.

As an early Bitcoin investor, JP Thor will be advising Invox Finance leading to its first ICO. He earned a degree with First Class honours in Technology (BTech), Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, served in the Royal Australian Air Force and is a serial blockchain entrepreneur.

Looking to disrupt traditional invoice financing, Invox Finance will provide a decentralised peer-to-peer invoice lending platform that will allow sellers, buyers, investors and other service providers to directly connect, interact, share and distribute information through The Invox Finance platform. In addition, Invox Finance will introduce dynamic invoices on a distributed ledger which will provide all parties with the ability to update invoice information in realtime, insure immutability, and manage sensitive information access.

"Invox Finance are a sophisticated, intelligent and experienced team who will be disrupting the peer-to-peer invoice credit industry with a tokenised blockchain-based solution that gives liquidity to merchants and access to creditors. I am very happy to work with their team on their project and look forward to a great year launching their solution,” said CanYa’s CEO and co-founder, JP Thor.

More about Invox Finance:

Invox Finance Pty Ltd was founded by members of the ABR Finance Pty Ltd team. The Invox Finance Platform is a decentralised peer-to-peer invoice lending platform that will allow sellers, buyers, investors and other service providers to directly connect, interact, share and distribute information. The platform will create a trusting environment by facilitating transparency between parties and rewarding performance. This platform will disrupt and revolutionise traditional invoice financing by implementing a system where trust and transparency between all parties is developed through an in-built reward system. In addition, the execution of transactions and flow of information will not be dependent on one single centralised service provider, but instead governed by a transparent set of rules executed on a fully distributed ledger.
