Before the Iraqi liberation, the IQD Iraqi Dinar was valued at $3.50 for every 1 dinar. The new IQD Iraqi was first issued in year 2003 and it’s value its at around 1/10 of a US cent for every 1 dinar. More that 13 years went by and most of the countries still buying the new IQD from the Central Bank of Iraq on daily basis as long as the currency is offered for sale. Also there are a lot individuals and corporations purchasing this currency as a future investment. When and if it happens there is going to be a lot wealth created overnight. Iraq posses a lot of natural resources to back up their currency but all the investors have being waiting for years for this to happen.
