So at the Mobile World Congress 2018, Samsung launched its flagship Samsung galaxy s9 and s9+ Smartphones will arrive in stores on March 16

This new phones features has some great upgrades like extended memory, fast processor , and the most important powerful and innovative camera but these upgrades does not really counts if we look back to the previous flagship last year that was Samsung Galaxy s8 series and Samsung Note 8 was the best Smartphone of 2017.

So it's better to stick with your old Samsung Galaxy s8 instead of buying a new Samsung Galaxy s9 and spending too much and getting a little in return.

Here are seven reasons why you should not buy Galaxy s9.

Samsung Galaxy s9 is more costly.

As compared with the last year's model Galaxy s9 is cheaper as it's Price is $720 whereas Galaxy s8 price was $725 but if you want a plus model, that cost more than the previous one which is $840 whereas the Galaxy s8 plus was $825 , that is not a big difference but by spending some extra money you are getting an extended memory a fast and efficient camera and a better battery time , which haven't tested yet. it's not a big difference in price but by saving a bit you will have almost the same experience by sticking with the Ga;axy s8.

Samsung Galaxy s9 has the same screen as compared with Samsung Galaxy s8

There is nothing upgrade when it comes to the screen on Galaxy s9. Samsung Galaxy s9 has the same resolution as the Galaxy s8 which is 5.8-inch Amoled display and an 18:9 aspect ratio and Galaxy S9 Plus has a 6.2-inch Amoled display and an 18:9 aspect ratio, same as the S8 Plus.

Sadly there is nothing upgrade visually.

Samsung Galaxy s9 and s8 are almost similar in design.

It is difficult to judge that which one is s9 and which is s8 because they are almost the same a bit difference in size and weight (Galaxy s9 weights more that s8 165 grams verses 155 grams).

The little difference on the back is by changing the location of a fingerprint sensor below the camera rather than next to it.

If we ignore these little changes then both phones are almost same in design

Both phones have almost same battery life

The Galaxy s8 and s9 both phones have same battery capacity 3000 mAh with standard models and with plus 3500 mAh.

When it comes to battery life, there is not much differences . The standard Galaxy S8 offers 20 hours of talk time compared with the Galaxy S9's 22 hours, and 44 hours of MP3 audio playback versus 48 hours.

With Wifi usage and video playback both are nearly identical which is for s9 16 hours and s8 14 hours.
