This is report #30 of the translation activity conducted in collaboration with @utopian-io (you can find the previous report HERE).

The week covered in this report if the one immediately following the holidays, so from January 6 to January 12. It's great to see that the activity came back up to almost 50 contributions. However, as activity increases we also start seeing contributions being skipped by the voting trail. We have always said that votes are not guaranteed but there are steps we can take to increase the likelihood that posts are voted. The first one is common sense, try to make fewer mistakes and longer translations. Don't overwhelm your LM with contributions. If he/she did not review yet your previous contribution and if possible, before submitting a contribution try to ensure that your LM can review it within a couple of days. Delays in rewieving contributions can also affect the chances to receive a vote. As you know the team of the @davinci.witness is supporting the category with a second trail and we try to modulate the weight of our votes to give you the highest votes possible depending on the available VP. Our internal trail votes mostly translators and LM and some science posts, so another way to help yourselves is to follow our trail.

From the point of view of our community, this means that we need to be careful before adding new teams and users. We need to grow but on the other hand we need to make sure that such growth is sustainable. We have a few new teams that we would like to enable but we will have to make them small at first. There will be more updates about it in the coming reports.
