All we want as investors in Steem, both finacial and time/effort wise, is a clear non-poetic response to why you have been powering down in a mostly down market. Can't you at least create some hype behind your power down? There is green everywhere in crypto but with Steem. It seems investors might be hesitant to buy with our CEO powering down for no real clear reason. Would you recommend for people to buy Steem as your powering down? What is up duder? @ned

Steemit sucks and all you have done is recreate America's Crony Capitalist Oligarchy( not to be confused with Free Market Capitalism). Bots have replaced personal interaction and your balance dictates the weight of your voice, rather than one person one equal voice. Steemit will become a sharing platform of original content created elsewhere, because it is not truly user friendly, it doesn't give back power to the people, the search function sucks, content has a very short earning lifespan, most content is junk, the platform has minimal features AND IS NOT DECENTRALIZED. I SUPPORT THE IDEALS OF DAN LARIMER, BUT YOU ARE A CROOK, @ned.
I see a huge amount of users leaving the platform for platforms, which do not pay them. This only makes sense if Steemit sucks and is short on Social in Social Media.
I could go on, but this will suffice. Go ahead and flag this if you like...I am powering down anyway😜

I have asked multiple STINC members bunch of times , is there a publicly announced timeline for SMT milestone ?
I believe in what you have to say about the vision but please ground this in tangible SMT milestone timeline we should expect.
Last time I saw an official response it was @andrarchy mentioning that you guys are working on a plan for the plan.It shouldn't be this difficult to announce milestone timelines , maybe you guys have already announced it but I have not seen them anywhere on the official blogs.

I applaud your admission and hope you create something better. I am not versed in SMT's, but know that whitepapers seem to be whitewashed. Your claims can only be proven once such a system is in place.
Until then, I will not add value to Steemit.
@ned, I just read the SMT whitepaper and it mentions nothing about how the blocks are validated. Does this mean the Witness System will still be used? Yes, then SMT's are NOT decentralized and Steemit will still suck!

Sounds good, great to hear updates from our CEO! We are doing our part some of us very passionate about Steemit and helping in many ways we can from telling strangers about it, sharing on social media and educating new members how to get proper attention and support! One of the problems in the platform that the bots will up grow you.
You need to use the promote button in a way people will pay for promotion and you guys will vote better then the bots money .
Like building your own promotions bots.

People trying to rip off pool rewards in the most effective way possible, clearly undermining the unprecedented value of Human-Curation.
There are two main inputs to the Steemit Platform. Content and Human-Curation (Votes).
Bots are threatening with the Human-Curation input.
That is my current view. But fore sure is a debatable issue. If you have any thoughts about, I will enjoy to hear. See you around!
