@grow-pro is running a new challenge where we share something of our childhood and asked me to participate.
I was a child of the 60s. Those were simpler times. We didn't have computers or mobile phones. I remember us having a black and white TV until I was about 10 and there were only 3 channels. I spent a lot of time out playing, even when I was quite young. As I got older I would go out all day playing with friends or fishing. We tend to be more protective of kids these days even if the risks are not that different really. My own kids have grown up in a very different world, but they seem pretty well adjusted.

what a funky little steev you were! Your hand positions suggest that you are already trying to work out use that tin as a ukulele....it just needs a BIT more tuning. Speaking of which, I have missed you at the songwriters challenge! I know it is quite a lot of pressure having to write a song every week.... some weeks I REALLY thought I wouldnt make it. Last one now though.....are you going to jump in for the finale!?

Ahhh the 60s - I don't remember it well hehehe.
I was born in the 60s too and it was a great time to be a kid. We didn't have gadgets, but we did have imaginations, and that was all we needed to slay dragons and go off on adventures.

Simpler times indeed. Our parents couldn't keep us in the house if they tried. At my age I find it interesting to have the comparison of an era without much technology, and an era with maybe too much technology. LOL I'm still not sure which was better. I must ask myself this question everyday too.

oh now you are to old.any how good idea.every one love to remember his childhood memories.and agree with you in past childeren was more free for playing now the life of child is hard go to school after this go to academy then after this go to religious study.they have not enjoyment like the past people enjoy.and you was cute when you were child
