I watched the Startrek Review. I didn't know they were shooting a new series now. But I don't expect anything special as Discovery was already a disappointment. What I miss most in the newer Startrek episodes is the humor. Everything is always so terribly serious and end time. Other SF movies and formats have always been more suitable for this kind of thing than Startrek. I don't know why the producers don't realize this, they still live on the fan base. But the fans are quite disappointed. I think it's refreshing how the set and also the scuffles and everything seem a bit amateurish, you can still sense a little bit of the spirit of the very first Startrek episodes, the terribly bumbling sets where Kirk and Spok played. Wonderful! I think there's an urgent need for a pleasing SF series that isn't so apocalyptic and at the same time isn't a racket. Just Startrek. I wonder if anyone will ever be able to do that again. But well, the old fans have to die first. LOL

Yes. Agreed. I've only seen a few episodes of Star Trek Discovery (STD) but I agree that STD is almost as bad as getting an STD or Aids. STD is misaligned from the main theme of Star Trek shows. Hollywood in general have been sold or like stolen by the Chinese government and others for so many years which is a main root to why STD and other shows are so rotten to the core. I've only seen some of the episodes of the original series with Kirk and Spock. I've seen all the episodes of Next Generation and Voyager. I like the Firefly television show.
