The key feature I like is that each individual is given a clear scope of tasks and is empowered with full authority to fulfill those tasks.

In a "normal" feudal hierarchy, it is nearly impossible to get cooperation from other teams without "buy-in" from someone with the authority to fire the person you're seeking cooperation from.

In a HOLACRACY, each individual can negotiate on equal footing, no need to waste time waiting on approval from a "boss".
