Jason Joel Desrouleaux [4] Jason Derulo, born September 21, 1989, of Haitian descent in Miami, United States, is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, choreographer, actor and executive producer. After producing and writing songs for various Cash Money Records artists, Jason signed with Beluga Heights Records and then with Warner Music Group. He released his first single Whatcha Sayen May 2009; this single was downloaded more than 5 million times and was certified double platinum by RIAA. He was also number 1 on the charts in the United States and New Zealand. In December 2009, Jason released a second single In My Head. In 2010 is released his first studio album entitled Jason Derülo, then a second, Future History, released in September of the following year.
