God was very pleased when He created the world. He said, “It looked good!” However, the story I am about to tell you is what happens after the creation of the world.
On the seventh day, God allowed all creation to rest. God rested Himself too. He was very happy when He saw His creation living their daily lives. So God decided to give them a special gift but He knew that it is difficult to find a special gift that would satisfy what is already perfect. This is why He created the great White Eagle. The great White Eagle with blindingly shiny white feather. With only a single flap of its’ wing the Eagle could fly up very high into the sky. The wind that it makes by a single flap of its’ wing is so strong that it can even split the ocean!
As a God’s gift, the great White Eagle served and helped all of God’s creation. Amongst all creation, the Eagle helped the people the most.
The great White Eagle helped the elderly like Moses to split the Red Sea. At the Meribah the Eagle helped to crack the rock to create a fountain and also helped Joshua to destroy the Jericho castle using its’ strong sharp nails. When the Syria soldiers tried to kill Elisha the prophet, the great wings of the White Eagle wrapped around her and protected her. (There are more stories about how the great White Eagle helped people in the Bible!)
Sadly, people did not know about the great White Eagle. The people’s soul was blinded from when Adam and Even disobeyed and sinned against God. This made the White Eagle very upset.
The White Eagle helped the people the most out of all God’s creation but since the people’s soul was blinded they did not even appreciate the White Eagle’s help. For over 2000 years the Eagle helped the people and finally decided to make a complaint to God.
“God, even if I help the people, they don’t even say thank you and they don’t even know I am there. I don’t want to help them anymore.”
Then God replied.
“White Eagle, people can’t see you because they are blinded”
The great White Eagle scratched the ground and muttered.
“You have told me that story many many times already. How people cannot only see me but also you too. Are you trying to repeat that story again?”
