Estou tão, tão, tão cansada.
Minhas pálpebras superiores e inferiores são extremidades opostas de dois ímãs, e o sono é a atração que parece ficar mais forte a cada minuto que passa.
Consciência é um alcatrão espesso e estou passando por ele com as mãos amarradas nas costas.
Minha cabeça está batendo no canto que meu corpo está gritando: “durma, durma, durma, durma!”
No entanto, estou tão sobrecarregada com a necessidade de descanso que não consigo fazer isso.
Deitei na cama e tentei acalmar meu cérebro desesperado e acalmar as dores da minha privação de sono.
Começo a ver uma bela inconsciência e ansiosamente alcanço o esquecimento reconfortante.
Meu despertador de repente toca uma sentença de morte e é hora de começar o meu dia.
