I have already joined the movement and started using #deletefacebook #joinsteemit tag in almost all of my posts in @instagram and @twitter.many of my friends were curious about the tag and they have now already signed up for steemit, hope the password process will be not soo late, i am letting everyone know cause i am a part of a steem family, for a family of 1000000 getting steemit to everywhere shouldn’t be hard and blogging is a part of our daily life now so let’s do a small thing by using the tag and make a huge impact, make Facebook a history and steemit a living legend.
This initiative has to be taken forward, i will personally post it on twitter and will tell my friends also this, because Steemit is the best Platform to show your skills and as you have said that it is Powered by the biggest blockchain in the world.... Looking forward to it :)
you are right most of the wise people have been deleting there facebook because it's really been a garbage which just waste our time most ....
it's also make us dull and useless so i just had deleted my Facebook long ago when i had join into steemit ... i also advise other it's far better yo use steemit rather the Facebook which is a garbage and how dull we become by it .. @stephenkendal
This is a good concept in promoting steemit, it is a though one though as we have people on facebook who do not understand Bitcoin let alone Steem , we have a long way to go in bringing our friends and family that are stubborn and still trust the evil fiat system

The only reason I’ve had Facebook for the past three years was to be in groups, as it was necessary for certain things I did (though I’d prefer other apps for groups). I hardly use the app anymore. I get useless notifications 24/7, I think it’s about time I #deletefacebook

We cannot change the past but we can become wiser in the future, it is never too late to try, I feel like suing Facebook for my time as Facebook causes @steemit paid crazy money so why not the users that work like workers. make #joinsteem #deletefacebook tag viral cause people need to escape from the prison. that's a very good idea, in my opinion facebook can not make money like steemit. steemit has greatly reduced unemployment in indonesia especially in aceh. instead of telling a story on facebook it's better to tell the story in steemit, and we'll make money as a bonus.

I agree with you, steemit is very useful for the community to fill the spare time, and start a bit I will campaign steemit on instagram and twitter and will provide information about steemit to my colleagues.

I take a sharing for our way on steemit.
In the end it's Facebook that's making money on you and for that it uses some really shady business practices. Google is arguably even worse with Youtube, I really hope more established content creators eventually make the switch over to Dtube.
I personally don't even have Twitter anymore and Facebook is just left without any status updates. Only using the Messenger.
I was getting bored with social media facebook that did not earn a profit and spent a lot of time, last month I started using steemit suggested by my friend and died facebook
