RE: Accelerated Pace This Week

QuoteFortunately, it's no longer 1000F in Texas. I can tolerate 90 degree weather rather well.

Well, I guess sometimes it can feel like 1000. I think you meant 100. However, I got a good laugh with that as I know what you mean.

When we lived in the Dallas area, we would have 100 degree days in long streaks. Here, on the coast, while it usually isn't that hot, it sure is humid, and that makes it very uncomfortable! We aren't far from Houston, but Houston is quite a bit hotter than us, because they are a little bit inland.

I've heard someone say, "Houston is 50 miles away from the Gulf, but 12 miles away from the sun."

By the way, I used Asana for years. It was the main way to keep everyone doing projects with me knowing what their assignments were. Now that I don't have people working with me on those projects anymore (that client retired), I haven't used it. But I consider it a very useful tool.

Actually, I toned it down. I usually say 5000F. I like being absurd to make a point.

I'd never heard that about Houston. Makes sense.
