It was a great read! A world of violence isn't one that I would wish for anyone. Sadly, violence seems to be the norm these days, we all deserved a peaceful world to live in. I once was affected by violence and it sure wasn't a nice experience. Just as you said, peaceful and merciful social pressure is what we need in order to make violence obsolete. Our government is quite messy (and I wonder if that change can happen under the same form of government), thanks to decentralized platforms like steemit, it is revolutionary. We all deserve to have an enjoyable life, and also get the most out of it.
