Steemians are lucky for having whales who give upvotes willingly to help those who aren't earning much here. I love the reason behind the creation of Steemit and it is indeed with a good cause. Steemit is fueled with our combined efforts, hopefully we'll see more progress as time goes by so we could really help disempower the government. 😁
