Judgement Trash

in #judging6 years ago

I just threw away several hours of work on a prospective post. It was about our collective tendency to judge others. This is a part of the Steemit model. My mistake was imposing my personal judgment standards on individual moral issues. The standards of others are not my business. I have decided to make my brand all about truth and beauty. Others may freely chose to make their brand whatever suits their taste. 0B503405-D2A6-488B-BDF7-775B88BC1981.jpeg

What started this thinking was the possibility of tracking other people as they navigate the expected porn bases SMT.

I must keep my own room clean. I must follow my own moral compass.

This means that if I discover that one of my followers has a fixation on a topic I consider to be abnormal I must allow him his freedom. My standards say judging is wrong.

My standards do not apply to anyone else.

Here is today’s beauty.

I attempt never to judge people. I don't always succeed. The other day there was some kind of news that came across my feed of a guy wanted for abusing a child and he had his face all tattooed up. I think I posted, I hate to judge, but why don't women see this stuff coming? LOOK AT THIS GUY!!

For the most part though, as long as what you're doing doesn't infringe upon a right of mine or another, then I don't care.

You nailed it, just be your glorious self. That is what we are all meant to do, but few have the humility to stay conscious of oneness, and realize that there is no more or less, better or worse. Thank you for the reminder.

actually this flower reminds me of my hometown....kind of nostalgic.....
thanks for sharing.... :)

Good morning @doctorjohn! It’s very hard not to make judgments because it’s part of our innate survival instinct. But then again this topic can have very broad endless discussion.

Have a great day. Aloha!

Yes the ability for everyone to express their opinion. Have a nice day

I find this advice hard to follow, but understand it's a good rule to follow. I'm too passionate or as my wife calls it sensitive/emotional
