Getting into Mechanical Keyboards

During the second lockdown, I got into custom mechanical keyboards. It all started with a video by Squashy Boy on YouTube. I actively watched him at this time because I was a lot into osu! Then he began to make videos about keyboards. It was that good, it pulled me into the deep rabbit hole that mechanical keyboards are.

Since then, I've built two keyboards. They are all about preference. You can change everything. Some mods are easier than others, but over all, it isn't that hard. As soon as I can afford a soldering iron, I will try to build an ergonomic keyboard like the open source Dactyl.

When a HIVE keyboard ? (with red switch please)

The images looks so beautiful that it looked like right out of a movie.

Thanks. Took them with my google pixel. This makes it a lot easier. But you can have the best camera and software when the lighting is horrible.

I still think the second picture is a bit too light.

Look your photography sf good but since this is my day 3 of continuously watching it in sponsored section and maybe it will last 4 more days. This is killing the execusive/rare vibe now to me.

Just my personal opinion.

I actually just promoted it for 2 days. It shouldn't be promoted anymore by now.

Oh! Then someone promoted it for u :)

Nice keebs! Liking the aesthetic of both your boards there. Ah the fabled Olivias - if only the real ones weren't so damn expensive on the resale market 😂

Yes. They are like $350 on r/mechmarket
