The world of blockchain has infinite possibilities. Long ago, when I started with Steemit, I got introduced to the world of blockchain based Social Media Blogging.
Years later, @himalayanwomb introduced me to this wonderful platform of Hive. Hive was faster, streamlined and better version of Steemit. Now we have advanced, moved towards better with Keychain for Hive. In simple words, this app is one stop solution for all things Hive. Hive Market, Hive Engine, Peakd, Actifit, Hive Wallet, HBD transfer, you name it and Keychain will do it. If I have to explain working of Keychain in five simple steps, this is how I will do it
Step One
Go to app store. Download Keychain. Login using your posting key. That’s as simple as it gets. The moment you download it, it will ask you setup your safety pin. This is different from your Hive login/posting key. This is kind of an app authenticator for Keychain App. If you have a Face ID enabled phone, the app will ask for its permission.
Step 2:
Now, you come to the platform that you want to use. It could be Liketu, Peakd, Hive Blog or Actifit. Let's settle with Hive Blog in this case. This is just like signing into Hive Blog using your web browser. Be ready with your login keys and do not forget to allow Hive Keychain Extension. It will allow you to use all Hive Blockchain Apps securely and safely.
Click on this beautiful heart and thus Hive Blog will start showing in your favorite tabs immediately.
Step 3
Once you have logged in into Hive, you will be taken to the wallet. You can see your reputation, Hive Dollars, Hive Power and recent transaction history as well. So essentially you are getting all the web features on the app. You can even choose to transfer your holdings to user of your choice.

Now coming back to the arrow mentioned above, once you have logged in and seen your wallet, you need to click on that arrowed globe and that will take you to the ecosystem tab where you can see recent history, opened tabs and your favorite pages (remember that heart I asked you to press in Step two)
Step Four
Now, coming to something I did not know until today. Hive platform has its own Strava(Actifit) and its own Instagram (Liketu) and Keychain enables you to access them all from single app. How cool is that!!!
