As promised in our proposal, we will post weekly updates to let you know what's going on regarding Keychain development.

Keychain extension

We are still trying to find a solution to update the extension on the Chrome Store, but are actively developing in the meantime.

  • Refactoring of dialog/index.js
  • Adding the requestSendToken function that make it possible for dApps to request a HiveEngine token.
  • Adding the corresponding documentation :

  • Fixing some minor issues (localization, missing username in the confirmation dialog for proxy)
  • Starting to work on Keychainify for custom json objects. This was requested by @roomservice for WooCommerce. Our goal is to support new Hive projects as much as possible, that's why we're putting a priority on this type of feature requests.

These changes will be available on Firefox soon. For other browsers, we need to sort the issue out with Google's Chrome Store first.

Mobile App

The App development is also following its course :

  • Integrated Hive through dHive
  • Created a screen to chose how to import accounts (by keys, by authorized accounts, by scanning a QR code)
  • Implemented navigation hook
  • Implemented the logic for adding accounts via private key or master password.

No screenshots yet since there's not much design applied to these screens yet and I am mostly focusing on developing the features for now.
In the coming week, I will focus on adding the other methods to add accounts and also on how to save them securely on the device.

Support Hive Keychain development by voting for our proposal on PeakD, on HiveDao or with HiveSigner.

What exactly is keychainify?

Keychainify is an option (you can toggle it in the settings) that transforms some hivesigner links into keychain requests.

In my opinion Payout should be declined.

It s redirected to the DAO to fund other projects.

I am mostly focusing on developing the features for now

Looking forward to new features of Keychain:)

Do you guys plan to integrate payment verification as Hivesigner has done for e-commerces?
