The Conway Scenic Railroad winds through Crawfrod Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
My second bridge entry into KillerPix' Photography Contest.
Just one example of the enormous amount of money, time and labour that went into building the railway system across North America. Think of the effort involved in constructing this one bridge, one of countless others like it that were instrumental in expanding the USA (and Canada as well).
