금일 포스팅 할 코인은 이더리움(Ethereum) 입니다.
그래서 그런지 이번 포스팅은 내용이 엄청 많습니다.~
아마 여러분도 이 코인은 다들 한번쯤은 들어보셨을 것 입니다.
그만큼 유명하고 인기가 있는 코인이죠.
화폐단위는 ETH로 거래가 되며 2014년 비탈릭 부테린이 공동창업하여 만든 코인입니다.
이더리움의 특징은 윗의 사진을 보시면 줄을 그어놓은 부분이 있습니다.

이더리움의 특징은 스마트 계약의 분산 플랫폼 입니다.
아시다 싶이 비트코인은 코인시장에서 대표적인 화폐로서 역할을 하고 있습니다.
하지만 이더리움은 분산화 시켜 사용자들간의 자유로운 블록체인관련 어플리케이션을 개발을 할 수 있게 하고 그에 관하여 간섭을 하거나 통제를 하지 않습니다.
그리하여 최근 ICO시장을 보시면 이더리움의 기반의 신규코인들이 ICO 펀딩을 많이 하는 모습을 볼 수 있으며 비트쉐어,어거 코인 등 성공적으로 펀딩이 되어 활발하게 거래가 되는 코인들도 생겨났습니다.
이더리움의 또 하나의 시스템은 스마트계약(Smart contact)이 있는데 특정 조건을 걸고 그에 맞는 결과가 나오면 계약 성립 및 해제가 되는 시스템입니다.
이러한 블록체인 기술의 플랫폼 버전으로 다양한 분야에 적용 될 수 있다는 장점으로 ICO 펀딩 당시 많은 이슈를 끌어 모았습니다.
ICO Free sale 당시 모집금액 1500억원이 넘었으며 사상 최대 크라우드펀딩이라는 수식어를 낳게 되었습니다.
하지만 여기서 엄청난 커다란 사건 및 문제가 발생하게 됩니다.
DAO 계좌 해킹사건이 일어나게 됩니다.
그럼 여기서 DAO란 무엇일까요?
DAO는 이더리움 개발자 비탈릭이 주도하는 "이더리움 블록체인을 활용한 Venture Captial" 입니다.
투자처를 발굴하고 투자금을 모집한다는 방식의 기존의 VC와 동일하며 여기서 VC는 Venture Captial의 줄임말입니다.
투자금의 모집과 투자자들의 의사결정 모두 이더리움 블록체인을 활용하여 이뤄집니다.
그 당시 모급기간에 전세계에서 총 826만 ETH가 모였으며 모금당시 금액은 1500~2000억 사이로 추청되었습니다.
DAO는 VC인만큼 자사의 사이트를 통해 투자의 방향으로 블록체인, IoT등 이더리움의 헤게모니인 "탈중앙, 분산화 신기술"을 제시했습니다.

하지만 2016년 6월 17일 오후 쯤 DAO 해킹 소식이 전해집니다.
대략 600억에 달하는 ETH가 해킹을 당하게 됩니다.
위에 보셨다 싶이 해킹 소식이 뜨자 마켓시장에서는 패닉에 빠져버렸죠.
사고 이후 대략 50~70% 급락을 해버립니다.
그럼 해킹범들은 어떻게 해킹을 할 수 있게 되었을까요?
저도 해당내용은 구글링으로 찾게 되었습니다.
1. DAO Token은 "Split" 이라는 스마트컨트랙트 기능을 가지고 있었습니다.
2. "Split"이란 보유한 DAO Token을 일정비율의 Eth로 되돌려 받는 일종의 투자금 반환 시스템인데 이 시스템에 치명적인 결함이 있었습니다.
이 결함은 투자금 반환요청이후 "일정시간"이 지난뒤에야 잔고가 반환요청을 금액만큼 감소하는 단점이 있었습니다
3. 그럼 해커들은 어떻게 그 점을 이용 하였을까요?
- 해커들은 자신의 투자잔고가 감소하기 이전, 이 일정시간동안 투자금에 대한 반환요청을 어마어마한 수로 반복을 했다. (Recursive Attack이라고 합니다.)
- 예를 들어 , 100만원이 잔고로 있는 통장에서 100만원을 인출하는데, 해당 인출금액의 반영이 5분뒤에 이뤄지는 것으로 가정하자면 5분간 잔고는 계속 100만원이 유지되기 떄문에 제한시간 내에 요청 횟수 만큼 100만원을 인출 할 수 있는 치명적인 단점입니다.
Ex) 100만원 x 1(초기인출요청) x 10(5분간의 인출 요청)
즉 천만원을 인출 요청을 하게 되는데 인출요청간 시간제한에 고난이도 비밀번호 푸는 작업이 있어 요청횟수보다 작을 수 있지만 적어도 700~800만원을 인출 할 수 있게 됩니다.
여기서만 봐도 ... 와 거의 파산직전까지 인출당하게 되는데..
여기서 뜻 밖의 행운이 따르게 됩니다.
해커들은 자신이 인출한 금액을 전혀 보유 할 수도 없었고 단 1원도 사용할 수 없었습니다.
왜냐하면 DAO의 Split으로 인출한 금액은 DAO의 서브카테고리인 Child-DAO에 보관이 되는데 이 보관소에 돈이 보관이 되면 약 27일뒤에 인출이 가능하게 되도록 만들어두었습니다.
이 행운으로 이더리움과 DAO입장에서는 해결할 시간을 벌게됩니다.
허나.. 여기서도 하나의 문제가 생기게 됩니다.
금융시장이었다고 하면 계좌를 동결시키고 추적하여 자금을 인출을 막고 해커를 추적하여 잡아서 회수하면 되지만 코인시장에서는 불가능합니다.
그리하여 비탈릭은 공식적으로 사고에 대한 대응책을 2가지 제시합니다.
1. 소프트포크 (Soft Fork) : Recursive로 당한 버그를 수정하고 해커가 훔쳐간 투자금액을 동결 시켜버린다.
-하지만 이 문제는 투자를 투자금을 동결 시키게 되므로써 투자를 한 투자자들에게 직접적인 영향을 끼치게 됩니다.
2. 하드포크 (Hard Fork) : 이더리움 블록체인의 기록을 수정, 즉 초기화로 보시면 되며 수정을 하게 되어 해커의 행위를 전면무효화 시킵니다.
*포크(Fork) : 이더리움 블록체인 시스템 일부를 업데이트/수정 작업
하지만 블록체인은 "모두"가 공유하는 시스템으로 비탈릭이 원한다고 해서 마음대로 수정 할 수 없습니다. 만약 계좌에 관여하거나 코인코드에 손을 대고 멈추는 순간 그 코인은 더 이상 블록체인의 가치가 없어지게 됩니다.
그리고 소프트포크, 하드포크이든 시스템을 수정하기 위해서는 블록체인을 유지하고 있는 Node (채굴자)들의 동의를 얻어야 하기 떄문에 이 안건에 대해서 공개 투표를 하였습니다.
이 문제에 대해서도 외부적으로도 말이 많았습니다.
왜냐하면 소프트포크는 위에 언급대로 투자자들의 피해가 가지만 하드포크를 진행하게 된다면 블록체인의 최대강점인 불가역성과 탈중앙집권화가 전면적으로 위배되는 것이기 때문에 이더리움의 가치 및 코인자체가 무너질 수 있다는 우려가 제기가 되었습니다. 정말 이러지도 저러지도 못하는 상황에서 투표결과 후 특단의 조치를 취하게 됩니다.
총 발행량 10%에 해당하는 이더리움을 출금하여 떼어서 버리게 되고 2016년 7월 20일 1920000번쨰 코인에서 하드포크를 실행하게 됩니다.
즉, 쉽게 설명을 드려 해킹당한 코인을 몸체에서 떼어내고 해킹전 발행량 수로 이더리움으로 돌리는 과정이었고 이 과정을 통하여 나머지 코인들은 DAO에 복구가 되는 과정이였습니다.
허나.. 이렇게 떼어버린 코인들은 뜻 밖의 진행사항으로 넘어가버립니다.
2016년 7월 24일 Ethereum Classic (ETC)가 기습 상장 되어버립니다.
이 사건으로 계기로 이더리움은 ETA라는 이더리움 감시동향을 점검하고 내부 감사를 진행하는 기구를 설립하여 이더리움을 감시합니다.
또한 이더리움은 EEA(Enterprise Ethereun Alliance) 운영하고 있습니다.
EEA란 2017년 초에 이더리움 기반 기업형 블록체인 기술을 개발,협력,제휴를 위하여 만들어졌습니다.
참여기업을 보시면 도요타,마이크로소프트,인텔,JP모건 등이 있으며
또한 최근에는 삼성SDS에서도 4차혁명 산업을 위해서 참여를 하였죠.
그럼 과연 ETH는 코인마켓에서는 어떻게 평가가 되어있을까요?
현재 마켓 시가총액 2위에 달하고 있습니다.
현재 시가총액은 무려 35조?!?!??!!

무려 8개월전만 하여도 1조원 가량 했던 코인이...
벌써 35조를 돌파하였네요.. 비트코인이 48조정도 되니 곧 비트코인을 따라 잡을수도 있다는 주장도 무시 할 수 없네요.
하지만 최근 발생되는 이더리움에 대한 문제점들이 나타나다 보니 이더리움의 안전성이 다시 발화가 되는 것 같네요.
해당 기사내용은 Status ICO 시 많은 이더리움 트랙잭션 수요가 발생이 되었는데 Ethereum의 블록체인은 다량의 트랜젝션을 처리하지 못하는 문제를 드러냈다는 내용입니다.
즉 이 내용을 해석하자면 거래량이 많아지면 트랜젝션(입출금)을 제대로 처리하지 못하여 관련 ICO나 이더리움 거래시 기술적 문제가 있다는 내용이며 해당 내용은 외신에서도 부정적으로 평가가 되는 것 같습니다.
또 하나의 뉴스는 최근의 일입니다.
저도 이더리움의 기반의 신규 ICO에 많이 참여를 하였기 때문에 이더리움의 문제점을 얼른 해결하여 이더리움의 가치를 높아지기를 희망합니다.

Another system of Etherium is a smart contact system which establishes and cancels contracts when certain conditions are met and results are met.

But there had huge incidents and problems.
DAO account hacking happened.
So firstly, what is DAO??
DAO is "Venture Captial with Etherium Block Chain" led by Etherium Developer Vitalik.
It is the same as the existing VC in the way of finding the investment place and recruiting the investment money, where VC is short for Venture Captial.
Both the recruitment of investors and the decision of investors are made using the Ether Blocks chain.
At that time, a total of 8.26 million ETHs were collected from around the world and the amount was estimated to be in the range of 1500 to 200 billion at the time of fundraising.
As DAO is a VC, they have proposed "decentralized, decentralized new technology" which is the hegemony of Etherium such as block chain and IoT in the direction of investment through its site.

But on June 17, 2016, DAO hacking news will be delivered.
Approximately 60 billion ETHs will be hacked.

So how did hackers get hacked?

1. DAO Token had a smart contract function called "Split"
2. "Split" is a kind of return system that returns a DAO Token to a certain percentage of Eth. This system has a fatal flaw.
This defect had the disadvantage that after a "certain amount of time" has elapsed since the request to return the investment, the balance was reduced by the amount of the return request
3. How did hackers use that point?
- Hackers have repeated a huge number of requests to return money for a certain amount of time before their investment balance has decreased. (Recursive Attack)
For example, assuming that the withdrawal of the withdrawal amount is made 5 minutes later, the balance for 5 minutes is kept at 1 million won, so the number of requests within the time limit It is a fatal disadvantage to withdraw one million won.
Ex) 1 million won x 1 (Initial withdrawal request) x 10 (5 minutes withdrawal request)
In other words, when you make a request for withdrawal of 10 million won, you may be able to withdraw at least 7 ~ 8 million won although it may be less than the number of requests due to the difficulty in unlocking the password during the time limit between withdrawal requests.
Just look here ... and there is danghage fetch up to nearly the verge of bankruptcy.
Here comes the good luck.
Hackers could not have the amount they withdrawn at all and could not use a single won.
Because the amount withdrawn by DAO's Split is kept in Child-DAO, a sub-category of DAO, which allows it to be withdrawn about 27 days after the money is stored.
This luck will earn Ethernet Solarium and time to solve the DAO entrance.
But there is also a problem here.
If it was a financial market, it would be possible to freeze and track an account, prevent money withdrawals, track hackers and retrieve them, but not in the coin market.
So Vitalic officially presents two countermeasures against the accident.
1. Soft Fork : Fixes a bug with Recursive and freezes the money the hacker stole.
- However, this problem has a direct impact on the investors who invested by freezing the investment.
2. Hard Fork : It modifies the record of the Etherium block chain, that is, it is initialized and it corrects the hacker's behavior completely.

But the block chain is a system shared by "everyone," also Vitalic wants it, it can not be modified himself. If you engage in your account, or to stop, place your hands on the coin code that moment, the coin will be no more worthy of the block chain.

On July 24, 2016, Ethereum Classic (ETC) will be listed in surprise.
