take/get
대화할때 take와 get이라는 단어를 많이 사용하니까 그 차이점도 꼭 알아야됩니다.
솔직히 한국사람들과 대화할때 가장 틀린 게 바로 take와 get입니다.
원래 뜻이 많아서 언제쯤 take와 get을 잘못 사용할 수도 있습니다.
특히, 뭘 받을 때 한국사람들이 틀린 말을 자주 선택하더라고요.
take와 get 차이점이 뭘까요?
take =자기 걸 가져가거나 남의 걸 가져갈때(허락없이) 사용하는 말입니다 (take this home, take this to my friend, take from someone)
get= 남이 자기한테 뭘 주거나 자기가 뭘 살때 사용하는 말입니다. (purchases; get food, get gas, get a coffee, get something from someone)
take의 대화 예
A: Did you just go shopping?
B: Yes, I bought a lot.
A: I can see that. Do you want to stop by my home for some coffee?
B: Sure. Let me take these bags home and then I'll head to your place.
A: Sounds good.
A: You know I saw that?
B: What did you see?
A: I saw you take that pen from Alan.
B: Alright. I'll put it back.
get의 대화 예
A: Why do you look so upset?
B: I can't stant it when I get some work to do from boss. He gives me too much work to do.
A: I'll tell him not to give you so much work. I don't want my colleagues getting a lot of stress.
A: You look like you are in a rush.
B: Yeah. I have to go to the gas station and get gas. Usually there is a long line at the gas station, so I have to be there asap.
A: I see. See you soon.

so, in the first line, "gotten" is not correct one? Then I should have used "take" in both sentences after all. OK thanks.
Now that I think of it. In both sentences, both tale and get can be used.
If you use get, then it means hiring you.
For example, in "you should have gotten that job" would mean its too bad that company didn't hire you (아쉬운 느낌)
However, if you use take, then it means you physically tiring to attain something. For example, in "you should have taken that job" would mean why didn't you physically try to accept that job(후회하는 느낌)
Therefore, in both cases both take and get would work but the feeling would change
