물론 스팀 블록체인에서는 코인을 전송할 수 있는 기능이 있어요.
그래서 스팀을 전송해서 글에 대한 고마움을 표시할 수 있겠지요.
하지만 어떤 스팀잇 계정 자체에 보내는 것이지, 특정한 글에 대해 가격을 치르는 것은 아니랍니다.
최근 퍼블리토를 살펴보았어요. 퍼블리토를 거의 하지는 않지만, 가끔씩 볼 때 여러 기능 중에 마음에 드는 것이 있어요.
그 중의 하나가 바로 "도네이션"이랍니다.
인터넷 서비스에서는 콘텐츠에 대해 "댓가"를 지불하는 것은 지금까지 거의 없었어요. 하지만 가끔 우리가 재미있는 영화를 돈 주고 보는 것처럼 좋은 글은 돈을 주고 읽을 수도 있다는 생각을 가끔 하게 되더군요.
이런 경우에는 글을 댓가를 치루어야만 읽을 수 있도록 하는 것도 좋겠지만, 자발적으로 일정 금액을 글에 대해 지불할 수 있는 것도 좋을 것 같아요.
퍼블리토처럼 스팀잇에서도 특정한 글에 대해 도네이션을 할 수 있게 한다면, 장기적으로는 유료 콘텐츠 시장을 만드는 사전 포석이 되지 않을까도 생각하게 되네요.
