Yesterday was a super fun day! I took three of my kids up to Lost Lake, just northwest of the 11,250 foot high peak of Mt Hood in Oregon.

The lake has a camp ground run by the forest service and has a whole bunch of day-use areas scattered around the lake.

My buddy grabbed all four of his kids and met us up there for the day.

Here is a shot looking back at my chair and the day use area. In the upper left you can see some kids at a table. Really cool spot.

One of my favorite things about this spot is there are no motors allowed on the lake. The store rents all different kinds of paddle-driven craft so we rented the classic rowboat for the day.

If you look in the bottom right of this picture you can see them out there.

The lake is o ly an hours drive from my house and we spent about 7 hours there, all in all a great day was had.

I am more than blessed to live in this Pacific Northwest wonderland @silversaver888. Hope you have a great weekend.

Sooooo pretty! What a perfect looking day.

No motors?!!! Does everyone have sore arms today?

It was great! I thought I would wake up sore but I guess I'm so ripped it was like nothing rowing that boat.
:)

Looks like a beautiful area and a good time had by all. It's been a long time since I've been to Oregon! Thanks for sharing and have a good one!😎🤗👍

Thanks @elizabethbit! We did have a great time, though some of the middle kids were ready to leave about 2 hours before anyone else :/
Then they took the boat out and couldn't get it back due to the wind. Karma?
