I think that both versions have their charm. Black and white express a certain melacholie and is like a call to reconsider whats importent in life.. Your photo is beautiful, great winter photo.

Thanks! Yes you have right, both, color and b&w photo have equal significance and importance. Your observation regarding melancholy and really important things in life is excellent! I called this photo "traces in the snow", traces in snow looks so deep but we know they are just temporary, traces in our life are permanent and their primary function is to change us!
