This place is just a Hole In The Wall.
No, really, it's called Hole In The Wall Falls, and it's located very close to Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. Apparently it used to be part of a city water system, but I think it's too much like a portal into another world to have that origin or name.
So lets get creative:
The Tearful Eye, the hole kinda looks like an eye and that rock formation on the right almost looks like a nose.
The Tearful Eye! Clever! I really like that!
Thanks! Great shot btw, I love the range of colors.
Thank you! Autumn makes everything better. :)
fantastic! will resteem this newer post.

Thanks a pretty cool waterfall!
Yeah, it's definitely unique. :)
That really does look like a portal to another world. Beautiful photo. Kind of looks like how I imagine heaven's gate. :)
Heaven's Gate wouldn't be a bad name! :)
What a great photo! I've been to Port Alberni a few times but I didn't know about this waterfall... I think I really need to go see this! Wow!
I think it's become more popular recently thanks to the internet, but it's not set up as a tourist destination!
Nice. How long did you spend on the island ?
It was about a week. I was staying with friends in Comox, and so, other than a side trip to Tofino and the west coast, I didn't explore around as much as I'd like - but there was enough to photograph just around Courtenay/Comox, so it was fine!
Ah you're so fortunate to be on Vancouver Island. Its a beautiful part of Canada. I haven't been anywhere on the island except Victoria. I can only imagine the beauty waiting outside the city.
Your photo is like a fantasy image. Amazing its real!
Ah, I would be happy to live there, but I don't - I was just visiting. :) Thank you!
Wow, what a great find @derekkind! Keep up the good work :)
Thank you, @oen, I'll keep posting! :)

This is great! I just wish all these upvotes and comments didn't cause me to run out of bandwidth and have to wait a few hours to post every day. ;)
So relaxing and beautiful! It just shows yet again how amazing mother nature is! Also thank you so joining our Travel Discord Server.... so happy to have you on board.
Thank you, @for91days, I still need to explore your Discord. :)
I'm pretty sure I put one of your vortex images on the screen a short time ago. In my memory this image was also in this corner of paradise. So it makes me very want to discover the beautiful landscapes where you practice photography. So much mystery in a simple photograph leaves me admiring. As you point out what was probably created by Man to let the water pass can become mysterious and magical. I am sure of that by looking at your image.
Thanks for the comment, @exposez, glad it makes you want to discover more! :)
door of heaven :))
a wonderful fairytale-like landscape again.
Congratulations, my friend.
