This photo I made in September 2011 at Peremilovskaya height. The place of bloody battles near Dmitrov near Moscow. Here in late November 1941 Soviet troops stopped the Germans. And from December 6, an offensive began on the whole front near Moscow. The first turning point during the Great Patriotic War.
Now only the monuments in these places remind of that war. Green hills, trees, peaceful sky - let it be so.
Эту фотографию я сделала в сентябре 2011 года на Перемиловской высоте. Место кровопролитных боёв недалеко от Дмитрова под Москвой. Здесь в конце ноября 1941 советские войска остановили немцев. А с 6 декабря началось наступление по всему фронту под Москвой. Первый перелом в ходе Великой Отечественной войны.
Сейчас лишь памятники в этих местах напоминают о той войне. Зелёные холмы, деревья, мирное небо – пусть так и будет.
