Today it is pretty hot here in Austria and i like it. I love summer but when you are at work this is not really preferable. To get me some cooling i look at cold and snowy pictures that i did in the last years. Some of these pictures i did at the "Schiederweiher" in Upper Austria that is about 1 and a half hour away from Linz when driving with the Car. It is a very beautiful lake with wonderful landscape and nearly every landscape photographer here in Upper Austria has visited this place to take some pictures. So did I.

This fist picture shows the most famous view of the "Scheiderweiher" with the mountain "Großer Priel in the background that was still covered with snow in the spring when i visited this place. This is preferable for pictures because then the mountains look much more powerful and high. Because it was a bit windy this day and the water of the lake was moving too much i was not able to get a reflection of the mountains in the lake on this first picture but on a different spot it was possible as you can see in the last picture. I really light how mighty the Snowy mountains look there so i also took a closup picture Zooming in to 105mm.
