One of our favorite places to go hike and visit is Mt. Pisgah at 5,722 feet high in the Great Smoky Mountains. It was the first day of Autumn, the day before a full Moon, and the air is turning cooler. Mt. Pisgah is known as one of the Vortexes in the world where we are supposed to receive energy and spiritual enlightenment. It is listed as the most powerful of several other Vortexes in WNC, as it is known to be the dwelling place of the Guardian Angel of these mountains! The views and trails are beautiful, and we had dinner at the Pisgah Inn to celebrate the first day of Autumn. 😍
