Hi Steemians,
I have spent a few days here. I have been studying the site and the site members (who call themselves steemians). My Mum do say something:
WHEN YOU GET TO A PLACE FOR THE FIRST TIME, YOU DON'T GO AROUND MAKING NOISE LIKE A CHICKEN, YOU SIMPLY STUDY THE PLACE TO KNOW HOW THEY DO THEIR THINGS.
I gone through the site, seen that in the Nigerian community, this site is more of a Social Network than a Crypto-Currency mining center. They are more connected to each-other and try to make more people aware of the site.
It something cool and I believe sooner or later, about 70% of able Nigerian youth will be on Steemit.
About steemit, it's likely it will replace many mining sites. If things continue this way, Bitcoin will loose value and importance and finally get replaced by Steem.
Moving around this site, I discovered Steemians are categorized into:
- Minnow
- Dolphins
- Whales
The whales are likened to the big boys of our society: The president, Politicians and Celebrities. Many of them act strict and are ever ready to flag posts.
The Dolphins are the average people who've got education, a few assets and are capable of being great someday.
The minnow (which I belong) is the masses. We are the most abundant. We are also getting more and more daily.
Talking about Minnows:
Many of us don't know where we are heading.... Just moving around without directions.
We see the big guys and admire them, but they look at us and be like "Those newbies" , and the mean ones be like "They wont make it here".
My Decisions:
I really love diversity which is evident in our cultures across the world. I will be writing posts not in English but in different languages.
I'll will be talking about diverse stuffs ranging from technology, sport, science to culture.
