Goldman Sachs is exploring Cryptocurrency trading derivatives

In a recent interview to Bloomberg on 20 June 2018, Mr David Solomon, Chief Operating Officer of "Goldman Sachs" (Leading United States investment banking group) said that they are exploring Cryptocurrency trading derivatives. As company is already trading Bitcoin Futures and is also planning to cautiously consider some other Cryptocurrencies.
Focus of the company is to evolve its business and adapt to the environment with respect to the Cryptocurrencies. CEO of the Goldman Sachs, Mr Lloyd Blankfein also confirmed his stance on Cryptocurrencies by claiming that the adoption of digital currency like Bitcoin could happen similarly to the adoption of fiat currency which also replaced Gold and Silver coins.
It is further added that Goldman Sachs stance towards the Cryptocurrency has changed as digital currency has grown more popular. In 2014, same company argued that Bitcoin does not qualify as currency however in 2017 that announced that it has become difficult for the investors to ignore Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies.
