Experts warn about giving easy-to-guess passwords for online accounts. But easy to remember, many people repeatedly choose simple passwords. Many people use 'admin' or '1234' as a simple password. His account is at risk of hacking.
The lawmakers in California state of California are now planning to go in a harsh position against weak passwords. In order to stop the cyber attack, 2020 has to be prohibited from weak password like 'admin' and '1234'.
There has been a law called 'The Information Privacy: Connected Device Bill'. It says that any device manufacturer has to give a unique password for the device. The password must be complex and there should be logical security features. That is to say, it must be ensured that the user can enter a new password. If the new law does not agree, the user can file a case against the manufacturer.
The BBC said in a report that, generally, users can create a device with a simple password and leave the market. Many users do not change that password and do not give a new password.
That law will come into effect from 1 January 2020.
Password management service Splashdata says many people use a few popular names that are easy to remember instead of their own name. Splashdata has released a list of bad passwords this year by using the password name. Take a look at the names-

Experts say, do not use top names as passwords in online accounts. Instead, create complex passwords in addition to numbers, letters and symbols. Do not give the same password to all accounts.
