LeBron James tied one of Michael Jordan's records on MJ's own court Wednesday night.

Welcome back to another day of NBA action. After a thrilling Tuesday filled with plenty of drama and highlight-reel plays, we pick things back up with a full eight-game slate. With playoff seeding on the line, and the tanking race in full swing, there was plenty to play for, and we were right here all night keeping you up to date.

With an alley-oop dunk in the second quarter against the host Charlotte Hornets -- the team Jordan owns -- James notched his 866th consecutive regular-season game with at least 10 points, tying Jordan's all-time mark.

Jordan's streak spanned from March 25, 1986, during his second season in the league, to Dec. 26, 2001, which was 26 games into his first season with the Washington Wizards after spending the previous three years in retirement. It came to an end with Jordan scoring six points in 25 minutes on 2-for-10 shooting in a 27-point loss to the Indiana Pacers.

The last time James failed to score at least 10 points in a game was Jan. 5, 2007, when he had eight points in 43 minutes on 3-for-13 shooting against the Milwaukee Bucks. Now a 15-year veteran, he was in his fourth NBA season at the time. James has twice kept his streak alive with exactly 10 points, once in October 2007 and once this past January.

"It just means I've kept my body in tune, in shape throughout all these years, all these games, 866," James told Fox Sports Ohio. "So anytime I'm in the same conversation with Mike and other great guys, it lets me know I'm doing the right thing and hopefully I can try to continue that. To all my teammates over the 866 games, my coaches, everybody, they've given me the opportunity to do that, so that's just very humbling."
