The assassin ninja

There are so many things that can be said about ninja, I suppose you might say some are heroic, and some are evil. All the samurai bestiaries agree on that, and the ninja have their own common thoughts of the samurai. It seems to me, there are some things they can't even agree on.

Afterall, there is the historical ninja warfare conflicts, and the ninja who were made purely for assassin missions, and the ninjas who were in the service of the doji, and in the service of the samurai. All these types of ninja, seem to not agree with each other about much, really, even if they speak the same language.

To speak about the doji that chose ninja as their guards, who became enforcers for them is to speak about the ninja that serve the legal samurai, and ninjas that have great relationships with many samurai, who are not under employ by the doji, and also, who, perhaps it is alright that they not be.

Though the doji, seems to agree that the ninja are their servants, in order to serve their empire, they are still ninja and do not serve the other servants, who are samurai and would not use ninjas.

The doji, the shogun, say they are all ninja, but they serve the doji, if they are under the control of the doji. If the doji has them under control, then they are being controlled by the doji. Perhaps, this is the truth

That is the truth, and if, then the doji is not being bad to the ninja as they say, as they have, by their own word of the doji, ninja are simply ninja, and have no right to have their own feelings toward the doji.

I mean, doji have such great power, why would they not use it to control the ninjas, why should they not be able to keep their power over those that they control.

Ninjas stand in a line before the doji, waiting for their chance to report to the doji. It is a great honor to be allowed to represent your ninjitsu clan and city before the great and mighty Doshi.

I have prepared my clan's section of my report, for some time, so that I could be exact in every detail I could think of. The Doshi have expressed interest in our section of the city, as it is going to greatly affect the doji and their territory, infrastructure and potential living space.

I, being a ninja and my clan's representative, will be the one to make the speech, but if the doji want, I'm sure they can harass me all they'd like, even to the point of trying to kill me. I'm sure I will be fine, though. I've been trained in many occasions, from the wise teacher that I had been trained by since I was old enough to understand what the word of the doji, the shogun and the samurai was.

My teacher taught me, such wise things, like the importance of my training, to be the best possible ninja, no matter the potential threats that life can bring me. I was taught that I was stronger than my teachers, I knew better than they did everything. I was a ninja, I knew better than them. My teacher was right and wrong, I was right and wrong.

My teacher taught me such great skills, such wonderful skills, but he was wrong. It is alright to be wrong. My teacher only had a small part in the training and teachings of myself, I was trained from the best, best teachers in my ninja clan, the great master, on the very best of teachings, born from the greatest and wisest of ninja, chosen for their wisdom.

So I train for the things I know, I train to become the best ninja, my teacher taught me that, that's what we all should do. I have improved from the time that my teacher first trained me to the time I am today, trained by teachers that have done things that I am unable to imagine.

Ahh, oh yeah, I trained in the bushigumi, they were good training soldiers, they were trained well. They were trained in fighting in the forests, I trained them and taught them, with my teacher that was a great teacher, and he drilled them in the most important knowledge of the doji, about the doji, about the bushigumi, about the enemy, and about everything.
