One of Sabrolin’s primary arguments centers on the technological capacity of the 1960s. He points out that the Apollo spacecraft supposedly traveled farther than current human space exploration capabilities, yet it did so with a mere fraction of the modern computing power—less than a modern cell phone.

“Fifty years ago, they went to the moon on a computer with one millionth of the power of a smartphone,” Sabrolin argues. “Today, we can’t even send astronauts beyond low Earth orbit without difficulty.”
