Good evening everyone, after long days of work, in my list of suggestions appeared the famous platform hive blog, let's go for it.
Chile.
My current country is Chile, considered the richest in South America with the best rates of private security, health, almost zero state debt but how they managed to reach these numbers.
On September 11, 1973 happened the coup d'état in Chile establishing a neo-liberal monetary policy expanded directly from the United States a text called the block and the economic group Chicago Boys leading it, it was a difficult time where day by day people were dying there was the curfew torture against the population.
little by little the raw materials, the companies in the south of the country, the green fauna was handed over to private hands, the roads were concessioned to foreign companies, little by little the country was handed over to the hands of private companies.
but there were also good things about this
The latest data suggest that Chile is the country with more vaccines against COVID 19 the minimum wage per worker is the highest in South America, public health has improved in recent years and there is no longer a problem of malnutrition in people or young children.
The bad thing is that people no longer have time for themselves. In Chile the workday is extended by 45 hours a week legally more than 60% of the day without counting the hours of sleep you spend working the banks the multistores the state, everything is done to get a slice of your salary that saying that occurs in less wealthy countries to give away here does not exist people are materialistic they fight for the moment and I dare to say that it is a United States in South America.
Many say that their landscapes are beautiful that they have sea, fauna, green places but very few people manage to get to these places because they have time most of the day you are at work.
little by little when a system is extremely without freedom, gives signs of collapse in 2021 revolts happened that moved the whole country almost completely destroying the center of my city, Serena millions of people marched demanding decent conditions to live that having money also was in having a decent life and not expropriate the time of life of people.
Nice to know about Chile. So privatization helped in the growth of Chile.
How is the "corruption scale" in Chile. Most of countries are actually rich but corruption concentrate the wealth for few leaving most of the people poor.

Chile has been on my list of "must visit" places list for years. I'm hoping to spend 3 months there. But it will need to settle down first and we'll have to get beyond COVID. I didn't realise there had been unrest so recently but it looks a relatively peaceful protest. At least in that video. 😊

The doors are open for when you want to come, just stay away from the center is where the riots are concentrated
Are the riots still going on then?
It's going to be a long time before we can take 3 months off work and visit but we'll get there one day.
