What do you think of my idea for a 1/5 ounce $2 Silver Coin and a 1/5 ounce $20 Gold Coin...???
Interesting, but in today's world they would be melted down since metals are so expensive. It would be nice to actually have coins with real metal value besides the penny!
On the other side of the Reset, a 1/5 ounce $2 Silver Coin would have the Spending Power of 200 of today's Fiat USD's... If it were melted down, the Silver would lose 10% of its Spending Power, and be worth 180 of today's Fiat USD's... The same 10% loss of Spending Power, would apply to all our Silver and Gold Coins... That's why the Face Value always needs to be higher than its Melt Value...
