Silver Portfolio Update 9/6/25

Silver Price Analysis
For long-term silver investors frustrated by past rallies that failed to hold their gains, but I'm hoping the market has fundamentally and structurally changed this year. The current silver market is unlike the failed breakouts of 2011 and 2020, pointing to an unprecedented, multi-year supply deficit and a profound shift in investor psychology as key differentiators. This underlying deficit is now in its fifth year, driven by what Baker describes as 'insatiable' physical demand running up against a critically constrained supply chain. What I'm hoping is silver finally gets its day as paper markets have manipulated pricing for way too long.

The character and candor of the Gold and silver market did change.
$50 won't be too long.
The Bullion banks will be eating their shorts.

I'm hoping for a record short squeeze

Five years running of deficits is the detail that jumps out. If physical keeps tightening while sentiment shifts, even the paper crowd might have to play catch up. Nice move from 3240 to 4635, that cushion makes patience easier. Are you planning to add on dips or just let it ride?

Let it ride and likely unload when my 25% when my stack doubles

Solid plan. Is that double based on spot or your average cost for the stack? And when you trim 25%, do you unload higher premium pieces first or ladder out the bulk stuff over a few rips?

Investors' happiness is doubling every day after seeing this

It's a good feeling seeing things catch up to where I think they should be

With the movement up, do you think this is the right time to buy more silver

I'm not buying since I already have a decent amount. I do have about $25K in slv shares too. That's currently up about $4K

Strange it didn't follow a bit at least the gold

Just keep an eye on the silver to gold ratio

Very nice but it’s just the beginning

I have not bought any physical lately but keep adding to my slv shares every time I make some profit on a trade. Added 50 shares last week.

I’ve gotten burnt too many times on paper silver. Won’t touch it, it’s more manipulated then physical silver.

Oh wow! I never know the price of my lonely little silver bar til I see one of your posts! It has been 30something for so long, I am shocked to see it above 40$!

As things get goofy with crypto and stocks, I figured many more people would be locking profits into stable coins and commodifies like silver.

Is this a fundamental shift you are seeing? Will this level hold?

I think you nailed it I think there will be a fundamental shift to safer assets in the near term. The economy is very weak but stocks are not showing it yet. I'm a firm believer stocks lag the real economy.
