RV businesses around the United States and elsewhere are seeing boombing business right now. As many places have not yet resumed travel as normal, people are looking for alternatives. That means looking for something close to home, or renting an RV and getting out on the road for a vacation around town.

Right now there are many first time RV buyers and renters coming in to see what's available. This is usually a busy time for them anyways in the summer, but especially now since people are looking to enjoy their time outside after staying at home for weeks or months at a time.

Sales are up more than 46 percent in the last few months.

They have sold over 100 RVs just at one dealership in the last month alone. It's a great way that people find they can social distance while still getting outside and being able to explore. They might also have difficulty finding some hotels that are open for non-essential travel, or that have available rooms etc, and so the RV solves those problems for them.

People want to hit the road and they are looking for an RV to do it.

Thankfully, there are other options as well as far as renting RVs that people might not be using at this time. There are peer-to-peer platforms like RVezy and others that make that possible.

Since the COVID-19 situation first started, surveys show that interest for RV travel has grown significantly and people are eager to get outdoors.

According to the RV Industry Association they say that sales are up over the last several years to begin with and now the trend is continuing.
