Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.
What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
Its been a good week and we've crossed over the 60k delegated in amount and the chart above is trending in the right direction. Whats next? 70k?
Finally, got over 8% for HIVE curation rewards which is nice. The higher the APY we earn from curating, the more EDS we can mint and issue. I hope that getting over 8% will be the new normal but im not sure, we are working 1 week behind so its hard to get a real up-to-date APY.
We're doing well with HP rewards as well with over 97 HIVE this week. We'll soon get this to over 100 HP per week which will issue 50 EDS and then after a little more time, we will be issuing 100 EDS tokens.
I wanna get hit issuing 50 EDS next week, that would be over 2500 a year, not too bad. This chart is looking good as well and heading in the correct way. Lets keep it going and aim for 100 a week by year-end :)
Round-Up
It's been a good week, between filling out the report and now, there has been another 1k delegated. Is nice to see new people finding this and delegating some HP are seeing people increasing delegations. The price of EDS is still crazy at over 1 HIVE but on the plus, this does increase your APY if you're a seller.
Things are going to plan and it's still early days, EDS-vote will be big and strong in only a few year's time. Facts
