What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
Boom! Over 140k of HP delegations are coming into @eds-vote. What's great about this is when the massive 30k delegation we currently have removes it in a few weeks, we'll still be over 100k so...winning 😁 We had that target for year-end and as long as crap does not hit the fan, we should be good on hitting that target.
Solid week at 8.44% curation. I have been a little heavy on the voting power but not overly, it's still only bottoming out at 85%. As i have said before, we know the 30k lease is short term so make hay when the sun is shining they say.
Smashed it this week with a new time-high rewards week. I was expecting it to be around 220 so to see 233 HP in rewards when I collect at the same time each week (give or take 30 mins) was a nice surprise. No idea what next weeks rewards will be like so will interesting to see if we can hit the 250 HP mark. I dont think so but we can always have hope.
Ohh yes, higher HP rewards means moar EDS minted and issued to beautiful people that delegate HP to @eds-vote. This week, we minted 116.6 EDS and we can stay over 100 per week going forward, I'd be a happy chappy.
Round Up
Great week, up 10k in HP delegations from last week and oh oh, better news.
I started a new powerdown and was able to increase it by 50 HIVE per week to make a 150 HIVE per week powerdown. The 150 HIVE is sent directly via recurring payment to @eddie-earner where it is powered up. Because the EDS APY is directly connected to the HP balance of @eddie-earner. When more HIVE is powered up, the EDS APY increases.
Better than better news,
If we can hold current curation HP rewards at over 200, we will beable to start a 200 HIVE per week powerdown in 12-13 weeks from now which would be amazing and do wonders for EDS token holders.
