What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
Big dip this week as our big 30k delegator is back on his holidays. We still sitting on a very respectful 119k. Ballpark curation rewards with this amount of HP being delegated in is still over 180 HIVE per week. I think we can say we'll finish the year with over 100k 🥳
Massive curation APY this week. This is because this number is worked out from last weeks curation rewards against today's delegated in HP balance. We're running a week behind, which means these last rewards are based on having closer to 150k HP being delegated in. Next week, we should be back to our 8% benchmark.
Small dip in rewards but still over 235 HP earned. Next week, this should be around 180. This is still way over our current powerdown of 150 so we are not worrying about having to reduce that next power down.
We were able to mint and issue 117. It's been nice being able to mint over 100 for a few weeks. Im sure we will get there again. The trend of the above chart is up so if things can continue on as they are, we should be good.
Round Up
Its been a good week for eds-vote, part from losing the 30k delegation which was expected, we earned a good amount and was able to mint alot of new EDS tokens into circulation.
