I don't know how many of you are still hitting the refresh button, but I have sort of slowed down.
Sometimes great things take time, and in as much as we want to get the airdrop so we can have a great DeFi experience farming more cub, we also want to have a way to seamlessly claim and move over to BSC to farm.
Unfortunately, as per the latest Update from @leofiance team, they've had to rework the initial process for claiming the CUB Airdrop, which would explain why it's taking longer than expected.
In the Update they stated;
Important Update: due to the complexity of airdropping across Hive and Binance Smart Chain, we've decided to rework the initial process for claiming the CUB Airdrop. We've just built a simple UI to handle the wraps and we lifted the restriction on selling airdropped CUB tokens on Hive-Engine.
They have gone further to explain how we can claim the airdrop once it starts rolling out.
With this new update, there are a few key changes that we made to make this claimdrop process smoother for the community in response to all the questions and concerns about the complexities:
- Anyone can buy or sell CUB and then wrap it onto BSC
- The wrapping bridge will have its own UI to allow you to send HE CUB to BEP20 CUB
- The bridge will only work one way (no unwraps from BEP20 CUB to HE CUB)
- The bridge will last for 7 days. After that, wrapping CUB will be impossible. Airdrops must be claimed within 7 days of the initial drop. After that, HE CUB will no longer be utilized in any way, shape or form

How to Claim the CUB Drop:
As balances are processed, the CUB drop system will send CUB to your Hive wallet as CUB HE tokens
- Once you receive your CUB HE tokens, head over to the new Wrapping UI specifically for the CUB airdrop
- Enter your BSC address under "CUB AIRDROP"
- Click Submit, then enter the amount of CUB to claim on Binance Smart Chain
- Confirm the TX with Hivesigner or Hive Keychain
- It will take anywhere from 20 seconds to 1 minute to receive BEP20 CUB in your BSC wallet address.

Personally I am looking forward to adding more liquidity with the airdrop I get so I can mine more Cubs.
7 days should be more than enough time to get my "harvesting" game on with some $CUB...any idea on what the quantity will be based on?
So it sounds like we need to wrap or sell within 7 days. That's great that we get the chance to sell now.
If we wrap and then decide not to get into Defi can we sell the wrapped coin? Do you know how that works once it's on Binance?
