The crypto World is in a frenzy. Go to any other social platform where the blockchain is being discussed and you'd easily be scared off as a new/potential entrant.

Needless to say, it has been quite a bad plunge over the last few days. While we're not going to point fingers over who did what (Thank you Elon and China), we have been in this scenario before and our reaction will chart the course of things in the short to medium term.

It will likely be De Ja Vu all over again as speculators rush to pull their funds out and cut back on their losses. The media will have another field day on why cryptocurrencies 'will fail' due to its volatility. If you're looking for the upsides to all this, you won't see much of it on mainstream media.

However, for us hivers the story is quite different. We've been here before, several times at that. Hive has survived repression, depression and an attempted suppression of its community. The regular users of hive are largely those who have accepted the blockchain as having long term value and are willing to play the long game.

Most post you'd come across right now on this issue on the platform carry three central messages: HODL, Don't panic and we've been here before. I consider myself somewhat fortunate to have found this community as learning about the Proof of value this chain brings has increased my confidence about its long term success.

HODL

Basically sit tight and ride these storms out, yes everyone has an opinion, some just hold a lot of sway.

Interesting read, good advice hold on tight, keep doing what you enjoy.
