Portfolio Management is a very important topic but might differ from person to person based on their lifestyle, needs and expenses.

I usually keep 30% of my residual income in savings account (as fixed deposits) and I consider that as liquid cash. 20% I again keep in savings account for any miscellaneous expense like house repair or some random purchase need. Rest 50% I invest.

My investment these days typically include SIPs in mutual funds and I also invest some part in cryto currency each month.

Apart from that, I also invest in life insurance policies which I think is mandatory these days.

according to what you have said, things will be alot different due to different lifestyle, environment and age range.

as a youth you lifestyle and savings will be quite different for old ones

I never think of savings while managing my crypto portfolios because there are too many projects with great potential I want to buy

Eyeing too many potential projects can be dangerous in trading crypto.
This is for my experience I don't feel at ease if I see a new project and what happened to buy so instead I look into the one I have and wait for its time

Having a stop loss is a great tools in portfolio management.
Setting your stop loss and taking profit is very important because crypto would definitely reset after mooning so set your take profit

Eyeing too many potential projects can be dangerous in trading crypto.

Yes abut I still do it because any opportunity can come for capital or receive a huge airdrop and immediately buy what I have known instead of just making research

Didn't mean not to get knowledge on other projects but avoiding greediness of wanting to buy all

Differentiating between a long-term and a short-term trade.
If you can't figure out that then you will misbehave while trading

Instead differentiate long-term investment from your short time and put your long term into decentralized wallet and you can stake to help your discipline

I'm really glad I came across this post. Unfortunately I don't have the answers to your questions. I'm here to learn as well, because this is a topic that has always bothered me.

one point i can give you now is that if you want to manage your portfolio, if you don't have much that is if you want to build your portfolio dont split your funds in too many cypto

$100 to $200 should be hold the maximum of 2 projects in the worst case 3, if you split it on too many project you wont make profit in such way.

To manage your crypto portfolio, should learn to stop overtrading
We should not chase any crypto that is pumping but instead the little we invest in we should trade and be contented

Don't hodl too low market cap project and too high market cap project if you have small in your portfolio
Low make cap is risky

This is my portfolio plan
1, Holding 20% of my portfolio as usdt

  1. Holding 10% for gambling on low market cap project for more multiplication
  2. 30% on hodling crypto accounts

Great portfolio plan
My own portfolio plan is investing 15% of my portfolio in different aspect of crypto field
15% in web3, play to earn, defi,Dex,metaverse, nft project respectively

Portfolio management

An important key is that avoid fomo and fud if you wants your portfolio to be backed up well.
Avoid fomoing because of pump

Decreased the number of project holding in corresponding to your portfolio size so it will be easier for your portfolio to improve than scattering your fund on so much many projects

Investing in few projects will increase your portfolio management than investing or spliting your fund to many projects

You are right but splitting your fund will we increase your probability of touching a crypto that will quickly 10x lolss
But not like 50 USD or 20 USD splitting 😂😂

I would advise to split your portfolio balance into maximum of 3 if it's $1000 and maximum of 6 if it's $2000 and maximum of 9 if it's $3000.
This is my advice to portfolio management

No matter what if you wants to manage your protfolio the best, always have a reserve.
Have a money reserve no matter what don't use all u can use 80% but reserve 20% for dip maybe

Have a money reserve no matter what don't use all u can use 80% but reserve 20% for dip maybe

This is easy until you buy dips and it gets dipping morre and more
