vexPolyCUB is interesting but I don't know if there are that many people who want to lock up their tokens for so long. Of course, I don't mind because I don't plan on selling PolyCUB anytime soon.

That is the point of the bonds. Here you have a way to remain liquid yet still enjoy the rewards from the locking period.
