Its a double-edged sword the way i see it. You either have to sacrifice your privacy(knowing that it won't be used or sold to perpetrators) to be able to track your spending or you don't get your finance in order.
Its seems its a risk you will have to take and be very careful of any malicious activity online and offline while using the app.
