So that is the story of Tezo Trooperz. But more than a game, Tezo Trooperz is also the next generation DeFi tool.
Most play to earn games will let you play a game and based on your acumen of the game you will be rewarded if you beat a boss or you farmed resources. Tezo Trooperz is not your usual play-to-earn game. Once you buy your Tezo Trooperz NFTs, you can actually earn without playing.
Yes, just by staking your Tezo Trooperz NFTs, you are guaranteed REBL coins each day depending the NFT type of your Tezo Trooperz. REBL coins is the in-game currency of Tezo Trooperz. All rewards will be paid in REBL, which can easily traded to XTZ. These REBL coin rewards from staking will be a daily thing (as per whitepaper)
That's why Tezo Trooperz is going to be big. It's the first of its kind to come up with NFTs that can be staked to earn.

Now, let's look at the different characters you can mint. Some characters are more powerful. As per the story, these humans have evolved to have some sort of abilities and powers, and that's why they will be able to have a chance to stop Titan's machine army.
First we have the King and Queen. You'll know you have a King or Queen if the symbol on the upper right shows a merged diamond and trident figure. They are the most feared humans by Titan because they are the ones who can inflict the most damage.
No risks are involved if they are staked, however a bit of risks are present if you try to claim your bounty. There will be a 15% chance Titan's minions can steal their accumulated tokens on the process of claiming. If this happens, 50% are burned, 25% goes to the Machine Citadel and the rest to the Alliance Bank and given to the REBL bakers. This feature actually makes the game more exciting.
When you unstake your Kings and Queens, the risk of them getting kidnapped is also likely. When Kings and Queens are kidnapped, you can organize a rescue mission. If you mint a Gen-0 King or Queen, good news, they cannot be killed. Gen-1 and subsequent generations are killable. Best to get yours now while Gen-0s are still available.
Next to the Kings and Queens are the Troop Leaders. Troop Leaders are the field commanders and tacticians. They direct attacks and missions. You'll know you have a Troop Leader NFT if you see a symbol that resemble a figure that have big wings on it.
A staked Troop Leader is guaranteed to earn 10 REBL tokens per day. When claiming though, only 90% can be claimed. The 10% goes to the staked Kings and Queens as taxes.
Next to the Troop Leaders are the Long Range and Warrior Trooperz.
Long Ranges are those with the emblem of a circle fused with a cross figure. Long Ranges inflict better damage from a distance. Long Ranges are assured of 7 REBL coins per day if staked. Upon claiming of rewards, only 85% are due Long Ranges as 15% tax is imposed by the staked Queens and Kings.
The last classification, but not the least, as each are important components of a raiding team, are the Warriors. Warriors are those with the emblem on the upper rightmost corner that appears to be a half skull with underwings figure. Warriors are best with doing close combat missions.
Like the Long Ranges, Warriors get 85% upon claiming however only 5 REBL tokens are guaranteed for them on a daily basis.

As mentioned on the title of the article, a fusion of game and DeFi, and there was also a mention of REBL Bakers. That's why this is not just a game but a DeFi platform as well.
You don't have to be a player but you can participate as a REBL Baker too. I think the best approach to this since we are playing to earn would be have your NFTs and then be a REBL Baker at the same time to get maximum yield. If your Trooperz got kidnapped and lost their loot, the unburned loot goes to the Bakers, and then divided by all staked Kings and Queens.
